This is a fully customized Ikea Transformation. From drab to fab, this chest of 3 drawers is perfect for any use from a dresser to office or foyer storage.
Part of my Adventure Series of furniture flips, this chest of drawers has customized knobs with details cast in jewelry grade resin featuring copper gears and little map pieces that I cut to size and cast into the resin for a fun little detail. Each knob is unique but they fit together in a cohesive whole. Other details include resin gears and painted
and foil strip details on each drawer.
The drawers are fully fixed up and finished in the same stain and paint as the outer frame. They work wonderfully!
DIMENSIONS: It is 36" high X 31.125" wide by 15.25" deep
To achieve this look, I used:
A chalkified version of Amalfi by Heirloom Traditions (sides, drawer interior bottom and embellishment base color)
A fully custom mixed stain by Sherwin Williams (it doesn't have an official name, I have been calling it Cool Coffee Brown)
Jewelry grade resin, small paper vintage style map details custom cut to size and jewelry grade copper gears
Foil tape in copper
I clear coated using several coats of a water based poly for great protection against all normal wear and tear.
